Interview:
HWL Heavyweight Champion, Cody Rhodes, starts off the show by coming down to the ring. Rhodes said that, last week, he was confronted by AJ Styles, who said that Rhodes was not yet an elite Superstar. Rhodes repeated what Styles had said: that Rhodes didn’t beat anyone of importance until the final match of the tournament at Justice. Rhodes then asked the people in the back, who considered AJ Styles a friend, to think about his comments from last week, and try and figure out who Styles was talking about. Rhodes said that, last week, the true AJ Styles spoke his mind; not the one who everyone sees backstage. Rhodes said that Styles needs to think about who will take his comments the wrong way, and realize that his mouth is going to get him in trouble; a lot more trouble then he will be in at Unbreakable. Rhodes said that he had been thinking about what kind of match he wanted for Unbreakable; what kind of match would fit for two elite Superstars. Rhodes said that the best think he could think of was wanting to face AJ Styles in a Last Man Standing Match for the Heavyweight Title.

[Non-Title, Ladder Match]:
Alex Shelley defeated Eddie Edwards in 0:36:35.
Rating: ¼
[Tyson Kidd interfered against Alex Shelley.]

In an impromptu Ladder Match, to start off the show, Alex Shelley stepped into the ring with Eddie Edwards. With no title on the line, Peter Bradshaw demanded that a leather strap be placed at the top of the ladder; and whoever retrieved the strap would get a leather strap match at Unbreakable. Tyson Kidd wasted no time, coming down to the ring after the bell rang, and made Shelley’s time inside the ring miserable. Kidd distracted Shelley, which led to Edwards locking an Achilles hold that made Shelley pass out in the center of the ring. But, instead of going for the strap himself, Edwards taunted the crowd as Kidd splashed water - from the announce table - in Shelley’s face. Shelley eventually fought back, and as he was making his way up the ladder, Kidd entered the ring and cracked him in the back with a steel chair! Quickly the referee banished Kidd from ringside as Edwards took advantage. Somehow, Shelley was able to find a way to fight back into the match, and hit the Sliced Bread #2 on Edwards. Slowly, Shelley ascending the ladder, and grabbed the leather strap before crashing down to the canvas, victorious.

Interview:
Backstage, just moments after Alex Shelley is announced the winner, Alisha Hicks caught up with TYSON KIDD, and asked why he had make such a sudden change over the last couple weeks. Kidd said that he’s on his own now; and he doesn’t have anyone else to worry about but himself. Kidd said that he’s the only one that’s in control of his future now, and that he was going to set his sights higher than just being a two-time Tag Team Champion. Kidd said that, last week, he named his first target; and this week he made that clear to Alex Shelley.

Peter Bradshaw is seen walking through the backstage are of the Coliseum, when he is approached by NATALYA. Natalya said that it’s been a week since she talked to Bradshaw about the idea of her facing a male opponent at Unbreakable, and she wanted to see if Bradshaw had changed his mind. Bradshaw said that he hasn’t thought about since their last meeting, because it’s a safety matter. Bradshaw said that he doesn’t want to see anyone get hurt, especially Natalya. Natalya, in return, said that Bradshaw wasn’t worried about her getting hurt, but about having a male Superstar embarrassed in front of thousands of people. Natalya said that Bradshaw doesn’t have to sugarcoat anything, and to just be honest. She said that Bradshaw knew it’d be good for business, because everyone would tune in to see if she could be victorious. Bradshaw said that knows that it’d be good for business, but that his concern is the safety of every Superstar on the roster, and again said that the match would not happen, before walking away. Natalya stood in the hallway shaking her head.

[Non-Title Match]:
Brie Bella pinned Daffney with the Sitout Facebuster in 0:18:22.
Rating: ** ¼

Two weeks ago, Brie Bella made a claim that she would not sit around and let chances pass her by, and that she hoped to one day become Women’s Champion again. After picking up a victory, last week, over the previous number one contender, Velvet Sky, Brie found herself in the ring with the Women’s Champion, in a non-title match. The pressure was on Brie tonight, because with a win, she would earn herself a shot at the title belt at Unbreakable, in a match of the champion’s choosing. Daffney threw everything she could at Brie tonight, but just couldn’t put her away. Brie fought hard, and was able to kick out of the Lobotomy, shocking the crowd. The tide turned when Brie reversed a top-rop hurrancarana into a power bomb. After that, Brie hit the Sitout Facebuster to pick up the victory, and a title match in three weeks.

After the match, NIKKI BELLA joined Brie in the ring, and they celebrated as Anarchy went to commercials.

Interview:
Coming back from commercials, a replay is shown of Chris Hero and David Otunga’s victory over Colt Cabana and Derrick Bateman in a steel cage match, last week on Anarchy. After the clip is shown, Hero and Otunga are seen backstage with Alisha Hicks. Alisha asked how they felt after last week’s battle inside the cage. Chris Hero said that, for different reasons, neither he nor Otunga feel anything from last week’s steel cage match. Hero said that Otunga is one of the most well-put-together athletes the business had ever seen; and that he, himself, had put his body on the line so often, that a steel cage match feels like any other match to him. Hero said that they are both looking forward to their next challenge. Otunga then said that, over the past month, he and Hero had done nothing but leave a mark on the tag team division in the HWL. Otunga said that there was only one place left to go from here, and issued a challenge to Skip Sheffield and Rob Terry, to a Tag Team Title Match at Unbreakable.

Commercial Break

AJ Styles & Mr. Anderson defeated Colt Cabana & Derrick Bateman when Styles defeated Cabana by disqualification in 0:16:12.
Rating: ** ¾

After hearing the words that Cody Rhodes said earlier in the show, Mr. Anderson and AJ Styles came out to take on Colt Cabana and Derrick Bateman. Rhodes’s apparently hadn’t gotten to Anderson - or any member of Flair’s triumvirate - as he and Styles worked well as a team. Cabana and Bateman had the added pressure on them to win this week, after losing to Chris Hero and David Otunga in a steel cage match. With that, and the constant knowledge that Ric Flair and Chelsea were at ringside, the pressure appeared to be too much for Cabana to handle. After coming up with only a two-count after hitting the Colt. 45, Cabana argued with the referee, before pushing him down to the canvas. The referee quickly called for the bell, awarding the match to Styles and Anderson, as all four men brawled in the middle of the ring. Eventually, HWL officials came down and separated the four men as Anarchy went to commercials.

Interview:
Coming back from the break, Alisha Hicks is seen with Yoshi Tatsu, and asked why he attacked Adam Cole with a steel chair last week. Yoshi said that, for too long, he had been sitting in the background, listening to and doing what other people told him to do. He said that, for months, Kaz had promised him that, together, they would become Tag Team Champions… and it never happened. Yoshi said that he had let his anger build inside for too long, and when he was able to realize it on Kaz, it was the greatest moment of his career. He said that, last week, he was able to let his aggressive out, and aimed it at Adam Cole, because Yoshi was not happy about losing to Cole way back in May. He said that he wants to make things right, and get one more chance at Cole, at Unbreakable.

Alisha then asked about his match against Kurt Angle, later tonight. Yoshi said that Angle wanted the match because Yoshi interfered last week. He said that he was fine with that, because he’s not scared of Kurt Angle; that he’s not scared of anyone in the HWL. Yoshi said that, tonight, he’ll get a chance to step into the ring with a former Heavyweight Champion, and let his aggression out once again. Yoshi then warned Angle not to take him lightly before leaving the interview.

[Non-Title Match]:
Cody Rhodes defeated Matt Morgan by disqualification in 0:14:13.
Rating: ** ½

Cody Rhodes had a lot to say about AJ Styles earlier tonight, and it seemed as if Styles didn’t take too kindly to what the champ had on his mind. Rhodes stepped into the ring with “The Blueprint”, who appeared to have been given the task of inflicting as much pain as possible onto the Heavyweight Champion. After battling back-and-forth for the better part of the match, the fight went outside the ring, where Rhodes irish-whipped Morgan into the steel ring steps, before entering the ring. As Morgan slowly got to his feet, the referee’s count was t five. Chelsea jumped onto the apron, distracting the referee, as Ric Flair helped Morgan to his feet, and rolled him back into the ring. Just a few moments later, after having fought his way back, Morgan whipped Rhodes into the ropes, only to be tripped by Flair. The distraction allowed Morgan to lock Rhodes into a choke lift, which “The Blueprint” did not break after a five-count, and the referee disqualified Morgan.

After the match, Morgan and Flair entered the ring and attacked Rhodes, as AJ Styles made his way to the ring. Styles stopped Flair and Morgan, before lifting Rhodes up, and hitting the Styles Clash on the Heavyweight Champion! Anarchy went to commercials as Chelsea entered the ring, and all four members stood over Rhodes’s motionless body.

Commercial Break

Segment:
Kurt Angle is introduced, and made his way down to the ring, before the start of the main event. As he stood in the center of the ring, RANDY ORTON appeared on the Titantron, from his home in St. Louis. Orton asked Angle how he was feeling after coming up short at this shot at winning the Heavyweight Title at Justice. Orton said that Angle mentioned not taking the match seriously enough, and that’s why he lost, but Orton asked Angle why he didn’t take the match seriously. Orton said that it’s because Angle had other things on his mind: mostly what “The Viper” had in store for him when Orton returned to the ring. Orton said that he had gotten into the mind of Angle, and that’s where he would be staying until they stepped into the ring together. Orton said that he’s feeling better each and every week, and that if all goes well, he should be ready for Unbreakable. Orton then challenged Angle, saying if Angle had the guts to go for it, they should have a match at the pay-per-view. The video ended as Angle appeared to be very upset, and he waited for his opponent to come to the ring.

Yoshi Tatsu defeated Kurt Angle by countout in 0:14:06.
Rating: ** ½
[Adam Cole interfered against Yoshi Tatsu.]

Yoshi Tatsu came out aggressive again this week, attack Kurt Angle before the bell rang, gaining the upper hand. Moments later, Adam Cole made his way down to the ring, and quickly made things interesting. As Tatsu and Angle were battling outside the ring, Cole jumped onto the apron, distracting the referee as Tatsu cracked a steel chair over Angle’s head, opening up a gash on the former Olympian’s head. Angle fought his way back into the match, but the shot to his head started causing him trouble, as he was unable to mount and long-term offense. Angle attempted the Angle Slam, only to have Tatsu slide out of the move, and throw Angle through the ropes. Angle was slow to get to his feet, as blood started dripping from his forehead, and the referee continued to count. As Angle got to his feet, he turned his back to the ring, and started walking up the ramp as the referee counted him out. The crowd booed unmercifully, as Angle walked through the curtains, unfazed by their jeers. Back in the ring, Tatsu celebrated his victory, only to have Cole re-enter the ring and take a chairshot to the back. Cole raised the chair into the air as Anarchy went off the air.
