July 13 2009 - Monday Night Anarchy - Alltel Arena - Little Rock, AR

Greg Daniels and Chris Michaels welcome the at-home audience to this week’s edition of “Anarchy”, just 13 days away from “Rebellion” in Oklahoma City! They announce that tonight is going to be the first round of the X-Title Tournament and question what will happen concerning the matches that have been signed for July 26th.

For the second week in a row they are interrupted by CM Punk. – this week in his wresting gear. “The Straight Edge Superstar” says that he was giving Matt Morgan the benefit of the doubt, thinking that he wouldn’t resort to the actions he took last week, booting Punk in the face after his match with Kenny Omega. (Crowd boos) Punk says that he was wrong about Morgan, and that he’ll never make the same mistake again. Punk says that he’s aware of the fact that he’ll be facing Morgan at “Rebellion”, but says that he can’t wait that long… demanding that Morgan meet him in the ring “right now” and “settle this once and for all!” (Huge crowd pop)

Punk waits in the center of the ring as the cheers from the crowd get bigger… but, they suddenly turn to boos as Tim Jacobs appears on-stage. Jacobs says that he fully understands Punk’s frustration; but, says that he can’t allow them to wrestle tonight because it would ruin the pay-per-view. (Crowd boos) Jacobs says that the best way to solve things tonight would be to give Punk the night off and to have another week to recover from the big boot last week. Jacobs says that “The Blueprint” has already been signed into a match tonight, so that Punk knew he wasn’t getting off easily. Before leaving the ring, Jacobs tells Punk that he only has two weeks to wait – just like the fans – until “Rebellion”. He then leaves the stage as Punk stands in the ring, shaking his head.

Commercial Break

Cody Deaner vs. Primo
(X-Title Tournament – Round One)

The crowd didn’t seem to be into this match too much as Primo took on HWL’s resident Redneck Cody Deaner. Primo picked up the kick victory after using his cousin Carlito’s move – the Backstabber – to pick up the victory. After the match, Primo exits the ring and is met by Carlito, and the two celebrate as Deaner is checked on by the referee.

Primo pinned Cody Deaner with the Backstabber in 0:06:21.

Shad Gaspard and JTG are seen backstage, speaking with Melina, when they are suddenly attacked by Robert Roode and James Storm. Storm and Gaspard pair off, as do Roode and JTG, as they all begin to brawl in the backstage area. Storm whips Gaspard into a metal door that echoes throughout the area. As he stomps Gaspard in the stomach, Roode slams JTG’s head into the brick wall, sending him crashing to the ground. (Crowd boos) Storm and Roode walk away as the members of Cryme Tyme lie prone on the ground.

Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya) vs. Tyler Black
(X-Title Tournament – Round One)

Tyson Kidd brought his girlfriend Natalya to the ring this week as he and Tyler Black faced off, and continued their battle from two weeks ago in the seven-man battle royal. Kidd appeared ready for this match as he dominated Black for the majority of the match. But, his cockiness got the better of him as Black was able to hit the “God’s Last Gift” on the concrete floor! Black waited as the referee counted to 10, but Natayla quickly came to her boyfriend’s aide, helping him inside the ring where Kidd had enough resolve to put his foot on the ropes to break the three-count. Natalya got involved, once again, climbing onto the apron and distracting the referee as Kidd connected with a low blow on Black before hitting the Springboard Elbowdrop for the 1-2-3. After the match, Kidd and Natalya stand over Black and celebrate the victory as the crowd boos them.

Tyson Kidd pinned Tyler Black with the Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:10:47.

“The Olympic Gold Medalist” Kurt Angle comes out to the ring, as “Anarchy” returns, to an astounding roar of booing from the Little Rock crowd. Dressed in his street clothes, Angle enters the ring and grabs a microphone from the ring announcer. (Crowd boos) Waiting for the crowd to quiet, Angle walks around the ring with a smile on his face. He stops and asks the crowd if they saw what he did to Austin Aires last week “right here, in this very ring”. (Crowd boos again) Angle says that Aires wants to be the better man by going straight to Tim Jacobs and demanding a match against Angle at “Rebellion”. (Crowd cheers) Angle laughs and says that Aires isn’t the better man… that he’s not even a man at all! (Crowd boos) Angle says that if Aires was a “real man” he’d face Angle in the ring and not wait until July 26th.

Angle is interrupted as Aires’ entrance music plays, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Angle quickly turns around and braces himself for a fight, motioning to the stage. The crowd cheers louder as Aries slides into the ring – behind Angle – and dropkicks him through the ropes, to the concrete floor outside the ring! Angle gets up and slides into the ring, but Aries stops Angle from getting to his feet before finally hitting a Cradle Piledriver in the center of the ring! (Huge crowd pop) “Anarchy” goes to commercials with Aries standing over Angle in the ring.

Commercial Break

Evan Bourne vs. Kenny Omega
(X-Title Tournament – Round One)

Kenny Omega found himself wrestling tonight after a very good showing against CM Punk in last week’s main event. Bourne, however, was making in singles debut, and it appeared to have him a little startled tonight. Omega picked up the win after hitting the Electric Chair German Suplex for the 1-2-3.

Kenny Omega pinned Evan Bourne with the Electric Chair German Suplex in 0:08:06.

Alisha Hicks is backstage with Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed when “Anarchy” returns. Creed says that he and Lethal have something to say, before Lethal chimes in and says that they both feel they were cheated out of the tag team Fatal Four Way match last week. He says that they feel they should be the team facing Beer Money for the Tag Team Titles at “Rebellion”… but, since that’s not the case, they are issuing an open challenge to any other team in the HWL for a match on July 26th.

A preview for “Rebellion” is shown, highlighting the four matches already signed: Matt Morgan vs. CM Punk for the Heavyweight Title; Beer Money Inc vs. Cryme Tyme for the Tag Team Titles; Maryse vs. Tara for the Women’s Title; and Kurt Angle vs. Austin Aries.

Commercial Break

Kory Chavis vs. “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan
The crowd – and Kory Chavis – were waiting to see Matt Morgan make his way to the ring for the main event… but, instead, “The Viper” Randy Orton appeared, taking Morgan’s place in the match! Orton took the fight to Chavis, and after hitting the RKO, was attacked by AJ STYLES – much to the crowd’s delight. Orton was awarded the victory, as Styles quickly exited the ring and made his way up the ramp. Frustrated by the attack, Orton stalked Chavis as he slowly got to his feet before hitting a second RKO! After the match, Orton stands over Chavis’s body, staring at Styles as the crowd boos intensely.

Randy Orton defeated Kory Chavis by disqualification in 0:04:02.

The camera goes backstage to see Matt Morgan laying prone and unconscious near the loading dock of the Alltel Arena. The camera pans out to see CM Punk walking away with a steel pipe in his hand. (Huge crowd pop) Greg Daniels and Chris Michaels beg to wonder what’s going to happen next week as “Anarchy” goes off the air.
