- The show started off with Robert Roode making his way down to the ring, with the help of crutches. Roode tells the fans that he had tweaked his knee during his match with Tyson Kidd last week, which got a mixed reaction from the crowd. Roode says that Kidd got lucky last week, because had Roode not injured his knee, he would've kicked out, and the match would've been a draw - or a loss for Kidd. He says that, when his knee heals, the first thing he wants to do is face Tyson Kidd, one-on-one, in the center of the ring. Roode promises that, next time, the outcome would be different.
