Table of Contents

The opening pre-show match saw The Amazing Red face Marco Corleone in singles competition. Corleone would cost himself the match in the end, as he pulled the referee in front a koppo kick by Red. Red would win this match by DQ. After the match, Corleone would attack Red, throwing him into the steel guardrail. Corleone would leave Red on the concrete floor and make his way to the back.

In an interview segment with Brooke Barlow, PCW Commissioner Rex Butler announced that, after hearing the challenge by Kenny King and Rhett Titus on Tuesday, he had decided to sign a number one contenders match to tonight's show. Butler said that this match will start off the show, and the winners will receive their title match this coming Tuesday night!

The second pre-show match saw Suicide take on Wade Barrett in a singles match. Suicide would hit the "Suicide Solution" on Barrett more than once during this match, but could not put him away. Barrett would eventually hit "The Wasteland" for the victory.

The main show started with the number one contenders match, signed by Rex Butler during the preshow. Carnage and Cody Rhodes took on The All-Night Express (Kenny King and Rhett Titus) for the chance to face the Tag Team Champions on the next episode of PCW Wrestling. In a match that the referee allowed to go past the 15-minute time limit, King got the win for his team after smashing Rhodes' head into the steel guardrail, which kept Rhodes from re-entering the ring before the referee's 10-count. As the referee counted, Titus brawled with Carnage, stopping him from helping his partner. The Express would win by count-out.

Natalya would defend her Women's Title in the next match, against Brie Bella. Bella defeated her sister on the previous episode of PCW Wrestling, earning this title match. However, Natalya would continue her winning streak after using a backslide to pin Brie and retain the title.

Last month, at the Gold Rush pay-per-view, The Dirty Heels successfully defended their Tag Team Titles against David Otunga and Shinya Ishikawa, although under questionable actions. Aries Aries used a title belt as a weapon against Ishikawa, securing a victory that night. In the weeks that followed, the two teams would trade backstage attacks on each other, ultimately leading to the champions challenging Otunga and Ishikawa to another title match tonight. In the end, Roode would pin Ishikawa after a cross body block, and grab a handful of trunks for the victory.

In a backstage interview with Brooke Barlow, The Esperanza - through Newling-sama - said that he had come to terms with the idea of ending his career if he was unable to defeat Hernandez tonight. He believed he is better than Hernandez on every level, and would stop at nothing to ensure that his career continued and he would regain the PCW Heavyweight Title.

In the sixth match of the night, Justin Gabriel would defend the PCW Television Title against Drew McIntyre. The seeds for this feud had been laid back at the Divide and Conquer pay-per-view in April. At that show, Gabriel and McIntyre were scheduled to team up as part of the Round Robin Tournament to determine the new Tag Team Champions. However, Gabriel was attacked and unable to compete in the match. This upset McIntyre, who teamed with Cody Rhodes that night, but would wind up losing the Tournament. The ensuing months would see Gabriel win the Television Title while McIntyre made his claim to eventually be the number one contender. McIntyre beat Suicide on the May 28 episode of PCW Wrestling to earn a title shot at this event. In the end, Gabriel connected with a 450 splash for the victory.

The main event of the evening saw Hernandez defending the PCW Heavyweight Title against The Esperanza in a rematch from May's Gold Rush event. The stipulation that was added to this match, on the June 3 episode of PCW Wrestling was if The Esperanza was not able to win the title, he would retire. This match ended with both men battling outside the ring. Hernandez threw The Esperanza into the ring steps before rolling him back into the ring. Hernandez walked up the ramp as the referee reached his 10-count, giving The Esperanza the victory but not the title belt.
