March 06, 2012 - Rockford, IL

Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to Rockford, in Northern Illinois. Tonight, all three title belts will be on the line. It is announced that David Otunga and Byron Saxton – the PCW Tag Team Champions – still do not know the identities of their challengers, which will be revealed when the bell rings. They send things down to the ring for the night’s first match.

Eddie Edwards vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Roberto Rodriguez)

These two men went at it after Del Rio’s house show match last week, with Edwards vowing that things would end tonight in Rockford. Edwards came out intent on keeping his word, but having been in the mix of the TV Title hunt for weeks, Del Rio had Edwards’s offense scouted, sending Edwards outside the ring for a five-count. Edwards came back, picking up a head of steam, as Rodriguez jumped onto the apron. Edwards punched Rodriguez off the apron, and connected with a facebuster on Del Rio for the 1-2-3.

Jeremy Buck & Justin Gabriel vs. © David Otunga & Byron Saxton

Jeremy Buck and Justin Gabriel – two former PCW champions – returned tonight, as the surprise challengers to Otunga and Saxton’s Tag Team Titles. The high flyers used those skills – and their speed – to show the champions something they hadn’t seen since winning the titles last month. Otunga and Saxton held their own throughout the match, with Otunga hitting the Verdict on Buck, but Gabriel was there to break up the pinfall. Buck was able to fight back, and with Gabriel, hit a double belly-to-belly suplex on Otunga, before tossing him over the top rope! This gave Gabriel time to connect with the Swinging DDT and score the pin, becoming NEW Tag Team Champions!

A video is shown, taken last week after the house show in Reading, PA. Brooke Barlow is seen with The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh. Singh says that Kenny King and Rhett Titus should be ashamed of their actions, and that he is ashamed for them. Actually, he says, he feels sorry for them, because The Great Khali wants to challenge them to a Handicap Cage Match at the live show. Another video follows showing Brooke relying that challenge to The All-Night Express. King and Titus say they are ready for a fight, and that Khali will be the only one feeling ashamed came next Tuesday night.

2-on-1 Handicap Cage Match
The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) vs. The Great Khali (w/Ranjin Singh)

For the past number of weeks, The Great Khali has been a thorn in the sides of King and Titus. The Express got their payback last week, throwing Khali into the guardrail at ringside, adding insult to injury after defeating Khali and Daniel Bryan. Tonight, with a steel cage surrounding them, there was only two ways to decide a winner. King and Titus used a number of quick tags and double teams to wear down Khali early on, taking every chance they could to exit the cage. But Khali would not allow the match to be won that easily. Khali evened the score, hitting a powerbomb on both King and Titus, but was unable to escape the cage in time. Khali continued to work over The Express until the numbers game caught him to him. King came from behind, chop-blocking Khali. They worked over his leg before Titus climbed up the cage and hit a frogsplash! Holding his midsection, and riving in pain, Titus called for King to leave. King made his way to the cage door, but Ranjin Singh was holding it shut. King ran into the ropes and dropkicked the cage door, sending Singh crashing into the barricade at ringside! King grabbed Titus as both men left exited the cage for the win.

Backstage, just moments before his match, Daniel Bryan is shown with Brooke Barlow. Brooke asks what’s on Bryan’s mind after losing the handicap match last week. Bryan says that it’s always disappointing to lose a match, especially when your partner is The Great Khali – and he equalizes most opponents. But, Bryan says that in the bigger scheme of things, lost week’s loss doesn’t matter. He says the only thing that matters is walking out of Rockford with the Television Title; and finally getting the better of Lance Bravado.

The arena was rocking with anticipation for the second title match of the night. Lance Bravado has, as of late, taken on all challenges to the TV Title; and in recent weeks, Daniel Bryan has catapulted himself into the #1 Contender’s position. He looked poised for a victory as the bell rang, quickly taking Bravado down to the canvas. Bravado worked his way back up, catching Bryan in a headlock, wearing down the challenger. Bravado nearly got a pinfall after a suplex in the center of the ring, but Bryan kicked out. Bryan worked his way back, ducking a clothesline and hitting a DDT for a two-count. Bryan went for the LeBell Lock, but Bravado reached the ropes. Bravado quickly regained control, hitting a Russian legsweep for the 1-2-3.

PCW Heavyweight Title Match
James Storm vs © The Big Show

These two men shared a battle of words leading up to this match; a match that was going to be a test for Storm, and a good test, as well, for The Big Show since winning the Heavyweight Title from David Hart Smith last month. Strong came out strong on offense, hitting a DDT for a near fall early on. Storm continued the offense, taking the fight outside the ring, where he smashed Show into the ring post. Storm worked over Show, rolling him back into the ring at the count of 7. Storm went for the Last Call, but Show blocked it with a double axhandle to the back. Show went to work on Storm, giving him very little room to breathe. Show whipped Storm into the corner, following him in with a giant splash. Show placed Storm on the top turnbuckle before hitting a superplex! Show made the cover, but somehow, Storm was able to lift a shoulder. Show got back to his feet, screamed out to the crowd, and hit the Chokeslam. Show made the cover and successfully retained his title.
