March 19, 2012 - Monday Night Anarchy - Bossier City, LA

CenturyLink Center
Attendance: 7,713 (62%)

Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Bossier City, just 24 hours after Wrestleocalypse! It is announced that, tonight, the X-Division Title will be on the line in a rematch from last night, as Rami Sebei looks to regain the belt from “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan. Also, Michael Tarver will take on Jesse Neal, the man responsible for eliminating Tarver from the Golden Opportunity Match.

Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring, carrying his newly-won Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. Orton says that last night will go down as one of the highlights of his career. The night he walked out of the biggest event of the year with the Heavyweight Title around his waist. Orton said that it was only a matter of time before he got his chance to prove Punk’s victory over him couldn’t be repeated. He says that he was tired of sitting back, watching others get the chance he knew he deserved. Orton says he earned that chance, and last night staked his claim as the best in the Horizon Wrestling League.

CM Punk’s music hits as he makes his way to the ring. Punk sits on the turnbuckle and rubs the top of his head. Punk says that the stitches he had to receive last night would argue that Orton can stake his claim as being the best in the HWL. Punk says that Orton may have earned the right to headline Wrestleocalypse for the second straight year, but that he didn’t earn the right to be called a champion. Punk says Orton can thank Colt Cabana for holding the title. Punk says the difference between their last two matches are very simple: Orton won because Colt Cabana’s an idiot, Punk made Orton tap out. Punk jumps off the turnbuckle, getting into Orton’s face, saying that he has every intention to prove that he can beat Orton again. Punk says that he made Orton tap out before. The next time, he’s put Orton to sleep.

Adam Cole’s music plays, breaking up the scene in the ring, as Cole makes his way to the ring. Cole introduces himself. He says that neither Punk nor Orton probably know who he is. He says he’s the one other person they need to worry about for the next six months. Cole says that he’s made quite the little system for himself, of just sitting in the background, waiting for the time to strike. He says he worked out last night, because he’s not the proud owner of a Heavyweight Title match whenever he wants it. Cole says he could choose to do it right now, tomorrow, or all the way in September. Cole says he thinks he’ll like to sit back and watch Orton and Punk take each other out first. Punk tells Cole that he’ll have to stand in line, because he wants a shot at Orton, for the belt, tonight.

This brings out Peter Bradshaw. Bradshaw congratulates Cole on his victory last night. Bradshaw agrees that Punk is the rightful challenger, due to his rematch clause, but that that match won’t be happening tonight. But, Bradshaw says that Punk will get a chance to become familiar with Cole, as they will be facing each other in tonight’s main event. Bradshaw leaves the stage as all three men stand in the ring.
