Monday Night Anarchy
May 24, 2010
Times Union Center
Albany, New York

- Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Albany, just six days before Fully Loaded. They highlight the Heavyweight Title Match between Mr. Anderson and the champion, Desmond Wolfe, before showing a clip from the ending of last week’s show. They speculate as to what Mr. Anderson has in-store for Chelsea and announce that Anderson will be in action, later tonight, against the X-Division Champion, Rhino. It is also announced that a new Tag Team will be debuting tonight as they will face Lethal Consequences.

- Mr. Anderson comes out to the ring - to a tremendous amount of boos - with Chelsea, reluctantly following behind him. He says that he’s been getting hate emails and threatening phone calls since last Monday night; everyone telling him that he should go to hell, and that he’s going to pay for what he did to Desmond Wolfe. Anderson laughs and says that he’s not worried about a damn thing - especially facing Wolfe at Fully Loaded on Sunday night. He says last Monday night was a message; a message that Wolfe’s time as champion is almost over. He says that at Fully Loaded, he’s going to make good on the promise he made to Chelsea, and prove to the world that he’s a better fighter, wrestler and man than Desmond Wolfe ever could be. He says that he’s so confident, he wants to add a stipulation to the Heavyweight Title Match on Sunday… before calling out Desmond Wolfe.

Wolfe comes out to the ring, showing signs from the attacks of the past couple weeks, carrying the HWL Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. Chelsea attempts to run to Wolfe, but Anderson grabs her by the arm, pulling her into the corner. Wolfe quickly gets into Anderson’s face, but Anderson asks if he wants him “end his career” tonight. Wolfe reluctantly backs away as Anderson gives off a sly smile. Anderson then says that he’s not going to waste time and says that the stipulation is quite simple: Wolfe has something he wants, and Anderson has something the champion wants. Anderson says that the stipulation is this: the winner at Fully Loaded not only gets the Heavyweight Title, but they also get the services of Chelsea. Wolfe quickly agrees to the match and warns Anderson that he has just made things “very, very personal”.

Commercial Break

- Backstage, Randy Orton is seen pacing through the arena’s hallways, searching for the person who attacked him last week.

Non-Title Match
Angelina Love vs. © Natalya

Natalya and Angelina Love squared off tonight, a couple weeks after facing off in a tag team match on Anarchy, and the Women’s Champion kept right on track by showing her dominance inside the ring. Angelina fought hard - as it was her first one-on-one action - kicking out of an inverted power bomb and not tapping out to the patented Sharpshooter. However, Love couldn’t hold out much longer, as she quickly tapped out in the old-school Airplane Spin, to give Natalya a victory heading into “Fully Loaded”.

Natalya made Angelina Love submit to an airplane spin in 8:31.

- A preview for Fully Loaded is shown - with “Letter From A Thief” by Chevelle playing in the background - highlighting the seven matches that will be taking place on May 30th, live from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

- Backstage, AJ Styles and Ric Flair are shown, dressed in expensive suits, with Alisha Hicks. Flair comments on Alisha’s attire and says that she’s doing her job as the “eye candy” of the HWL. Shocked by the comment, Alisha drops the microphone and walks off, leaving Flair and Styles in front of the camera. Flair says that it doesn’t matter what question was going to be asked, because “The Phenomenal One” already knows what he’s going to say. AJ then says that, in six days, Evan Bourne will realize that he bit off more than he could chew when he accepted the open challenge for Fully Loaded. Styles says that Bourne doesn’t have the pedigree to even deserve to be in the same ring with him at Fully Loaded, and that he plans on making an example of Bourne. Styles says that his goal is to get back to the Heavyweight Title - a belt he held last year - and that Bourne is nothing but a stepping stone to bigger and better things.

Commercial Break

Evan Bourne vs. “The Viper” Randy Orton
In this impromptu “Battle of St. Louis”, Evan Bourne was hoping to take advantage of Randy Orton’s recent obsession: trying to find out the identity of the man who attacked him last week. Bourne was also looking to send a message to AJ Styles leading into Fully Loaded - and after hearing Styles’ comments earlier in the evening. Orton, who did seem a bit preoccupied with making sure he wasn’t attacked again, was able to keep himself in the match enough to connect with an RKO to pick up the victory. After the match, Orton quickly left the ring and walked up the ramp as the lights suddenly went out in the arena. Seconds later, when the lights returned, Orton was lying prone on the steel stage…

Randy Orton pinned Evan Bourne after an RKO in 13:10.

- Backstage, CM Punk is seen walking down the hallway, followed by Serena and Luke Gallows. Punk stops halfway down the hall and turns to face them. He reminds them of what he said last week; and that it’s up to Luke to make sure Serena doesn’t cost Punk another match, or he’ll have to answer to Punk, personally.

- Also backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with the HWL Tag Team Champions, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. Just six days away from their title defense against Lethal Consequences, Shelley says that he and Sabin aren’t worried about losing their titles in the least bit. He says that, just a couple weeks ago, they proved that they could beat Lethal Consequences… just like they’ve beaten every team in the HWL. Sabin then says that he’s looking forward to seeing who the new team will be, debuting tonight, because in no time at all, they will become another team that the Machine Guns are better than.

Unknown Team vs. Lethal Consequences
The BRITISH INVASION made their HWL debut tonight, taking on the number one contenders for the Tag Team Titles, and quickly getting underneath the crowd’s skin. Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus made quite a name for themselves in TNA, and continued to hold that reputation, as they took every chance they could to double team the #1 Contenders. Creed and Lethal showed why they were facing the Tag Team Champions on Sunday night, by not giving up, even to their larger opponents. But, the newcomers’ size and strength proved to be too much as, at the end of the match, Magnus caught Creed in a Scorpion Deathlock before hitting the Tormentum for an impressive victory.

The British Invasion defeated Lethal Consequences when Magnus pinned Creed with the Tormentum in 13:09.

- Returning from commercials, KURT ANGLE comes out to the ring and gets a huge ovation from the crowd. Angle comes down to the ring wearing a neck brace and walking gingerly down the ramp. Inside the ring, Angle takes a moment to compose his thoughts and to soak in the cheers from the crowd. Angle says that Matt Morgan should be pretty happy with himself, with what he was able to do two weeks ago at the end of Anarchy. Angle says that it’s been a long, long time since someone has been able to leave him in the position Morgan put him in after hitting the Hellevator on the steel ramp. Angle says that Morgan was right, that Angle hasn’t gotten inside his head just yet. He says that the HWL medical staff, and his own personal doctor, have all told Angle that he isn’t cleared to wrestle on Sunday night at Fully Loaded. But, Angle says that he hasn’t listened to a doctor’s advice in years, and that he isn’t about to start now. He says that he’s finished trying to play mind games with Matt Morgan, and that now Sunday night is all about who wants to beat the hell out of their opponent more. Angle says that Matt Morgan is trying to break his neck, to end Angle’s career; but, at Fully Loaded, Angle will break Morgan’s ankle.

- Backstage, D’Angelo Dinero is seen in street clothes, with Alisha Hicks. Hicks asks if “The Pope” has any words for Yoshi Tatsu before their match at Fully Loaded on Sunday night. Dinero says he hasn’t been thinking about Yoshi Tatsu all that much for the past couple weeks. Dinero says that’s not because he doesn’t care about the match, but because he doesn’t find Yoshi Tatsu to be a threat to him in any way, shape, or form. Dinero says that Tatsu has a huge mountain to climb on Sunday night and that he’ll knock Tatsu down to where he belongs…

Yoshi Tatsu vs. CM Punk (w/Serena & Luke Gallows)
The mood at ringside was very tense tonight as Luke Gallows and Serena had been given their warnings about interfering in tonight’s match. They made sure to stay away from the action as much as they could, and the plan seemed to have backfired against Punk as he was unable to withstand the onslaught of high-speed offense that Tatsu was displaying. Sensing the match was almost over, Punk took the fight outside the ring where Punk, Serena and Gallows were free to attack Tatsu at-will. Punk for the GTS outside the ring, but Tatsu was able to slide away and push Punk into the steel ring post. Fearing a count-out, Tatsu pushed Punk back into the ring and went for the cover. The referee was distracted as Gallows jumped onto the ring apron, giving Punk time to compose himself. However, as Punk got back to his feet, Tatsu connected with the Roundhouse Kick and went for the cover. With Punk so close to the ropes, Gallows slid his foot onto the bottom rope, but was caught, red-handed, by the referee who quickly called for the disqualification. After the match, Gallows and Serena got into an argument outside the ring as Tatsu was announced the winner.

Yoshi Tatsu defeated CM Punk by disqualification in 16:35.

Commercial Break

- Backstage, Desmond Wolfe is seen standing in front of a monitor, when he is approached by Alisha Hicks. Hicks asks what’s going through the champion’s mind, and Wolfe cuts her short saying that the fans don’t need to know what’s going through his mind; that it should be easy to understand what he’s thinking. But, he says that there’s one thing he will say - and hopes that Mr. Anderson gets word of it: Wolfe says that he hopes Rhino rips Anderson apart tonight, but leaves some of him for Wolfe to finish him off at Fully Loaded.

Non Title Match
© Rhino vs. Mr. Anderson (w/Chelsea)

Mr. Anderson came down to the ring tonight with Chelsea following behind him, getting the most boos from the crowd of the evening. Chelsea didn’t pay much attention to the match itself, as she appeared to be embarrassed by being at ringside with Anderson. There were times, during the match, that a smile could be seen creeping across his lips when “The War Machine” would take the advantage, but that smile was permanently wiped away as Anderson hit the Mic Check to pick up the victory. Anderson now heads into Fully Loaded with a bit of momentum on his side… will it be enough to help him lift up the Heavyweight Title on Sunday night?

Mr. Anderson pinned Rhino after the Mic Check in 12:58.
