Monday Night Anarchy
May 3, 2010
Wachovia Center
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Highlights from last week’s main event between Kurt Angle and Kane are shown as Anarchy comes on the air. The clip shows Matt Morgan hitting Angle with the steel chair; Angle’s eventual recovery; and the moment that Angle makes Kane pass out for the victory. The clip ends with Angle and Morgan staring at each other from across the arena. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels then welcome everyone to the “City of Brotherly Love” and announce that, tonight, Nikki Bella will be making her singles debut. Also, Yoshi Tatsu and Kaz will be teaming up to take on D’Angelo Dinero and the X-Division Champion, Rhino.

They are interrupted as MR. ANDERSON makes his way to the ring - dressed in street clothes - and motions for the microphone. Anderson says that, last week on Anarchy, he issued an open challenge to anyone on the HWL roster; and open challenge to prove that Anderson could beat anyone he stepped into the ring with; a challenge to prove that he is worthy of facing Desmond Wolfe for the Heavyweight Title at Fully Loaded… and he has come out, tonight, to see who answered his call. After moments of tense waiting, MATT MORGAN appears on-stage, much to the surprise of everyone in attendance. Morgan says that he’s been sitting around the backstage area for a month, waiting for the chance to step back into the ring, and that he couldn’t think of a better reason then Anderson’s challenge. Morgan says that he couldn’t think of anything better, than to answer an open challenge and then embarrass the number one contender in front of all the fans in Philadelphia. Morgan says that Anderson would regret making his challenge, later tonight.

Nikki Bella vs. Daffney
These two “Vixens” of the Horizon Wrestling League made their debuts in singles competition tonight; both of them wanting to prove something for the crowd in attendance. Nikki Bella, who is coming off winning the battle royal at Rebellion, to earn a chance at the Women’s Title, wanted to prove that she was worthy of a title shot. Daffney was coming in hoping to prove that Nikki’s win at the pay-per-view was nothing but a fluke. Nikki looked to have been taught a thing or two from her sister - and former Women’s Champion - Brie Bella, as she was able to pick up the victory and sent a message to Natalya.

Nikki Bella pinned Daffney with the Sitout Facebuster in 14:42.

Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with D’ANGELO DINERO. It’s mentioned that tonight, Dinero will be teaming up with X-Division Champion, Rhino, to take on Kaz and Yoshi Tatsu. Dinero says that last week, Kaz got lucky, and that the referee got what he had coming. Dinero says that he may’ve lost to Tatsu last month, but that none of that matters tonight, because he’s teaming up with the X-Division Champion - who has beaten both men. Dinero says that tonight, with or without Rhino’s help, he’ll “right his wrongs”.

AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair) vs. Montel Vontavious Porter
MVP came into this match looking to get back on track after losing to Rhino at Rebellion in the X-Division Title match. But, he had a difficult challenge tonight, facing AJ Styles, who finally picked up his first victory last week against Randy Orton. “The Phenomenal One” looked to be on top of the world after getting the monkey off his back, and it showed, as he made quick work of “The Playmaker” with the Blue Thunder Bomb for the victory.

AJ Styles pinned Montel Vontavious Porter after a Blue Thunder Bomb in 5:15.

Kurt Angle comes out to the ring, dressed in a suit, to a big ovation from the crowd. His face holds a solemn expression as he grabs a microphone and looks into the camera. Angle says that he used to make his living on the concept of “Three I’s” - Intensity, Integrity, and Intelligence, and that over the past few years, he’s strayed away from those things. Angle says that he spent the last week re-thinking that concept, and that he has MATT MORGAN to thank for it. Angle says that he has something Morgan doesn’t have: the integrity to come out to the ring and issue a challenge for them to face each other one-on-one at Fully Loaded. Angle says that if Matt Morgan wants to settle something in the ring, then he’s making the biggest mistake of his career. Angle says that he will be watching Morgan’s match later tonight against Mr. Anderson. Angle warns Morgan about “waking a sleeping beast”, and that at Fully Loaded, Angle will show that he’s as intense as ever before.

Commercial Break

Yoshi Tatsu/Kaz vs. D’Angelo Dinero/Rhino
Last week, D’Angelo Dinero and Rhino laid out a vicious attack on the number one contender, Kaz, on Anarchy. Because of that attack, Mr. Bradshaw signed this match, pitting the four heated rivals against each other. Tatsu was very eager to get his hands on D’Angelo Dinero before Fully Loaded, but he seemed a bit hesitant at the thought of teaming up with the man who defeated him at Rebellion for a shot at the X-Division Title. It was that division between Tatsu and Kaz that led to Dinero pinning Kaz to pick up the victory. After the match, Tatsu jumped off the ring apron and walked up the ramp, shaking his head.

D’Angelo Dinero and Rhino defeated Yoshi Tatsu and Kaz when Dinero pinned Kaz after a springboard cross body press in 13:26.

Backstage, HWL Owner, MR. BRADSHAW announces that, next week on Anarchy, there will be a woman’s tag match as The Beautiful People will take on Gail Kim and Women’s Champion, Natalya.

Non-Title Match
David Hart Smith (w/Natayla) vs. © Desmond Wolfe (w/Chelsea)
David Hart Smith was given a huge opportunity tonight, as he stepped into the ring with the Heavyweight Champion. But, Wolfe was coming back rested and with his head still in the clouds after winning the belt at Rebellion, and he was eager to prove that he was the rightful champion. Both men help on the outside of the ring, but Chelsea seemed a bit skittish with the Women’s Champion across the ring, and both women kept their distance for the entirety of the match. Hart, the second-generation star, put up quite the fight again the champion, but Wolfe’s technical prowess and recent experience against the bigger men on the HWL roster, helped him keep Hart off his game. Wolfe picked up the victory after an errant short lariat knocked Hart to the canvas, unconscious. After the match, Natalya slid into the ring as medical personnel attended to her Hart Dynasty teammate.

Desmond Wolfe pinned David Hart Smith after a short lariat in 11:07.

Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson
Kurt Angle made a surprise visit to ringside before the match, sitting in at the broadcast table, and sharing odd glances with both Anderson and Morgan as they made their way to the ring. Mr. Anderson had said for the past two weeks that he had a lot to prove to Desmond Wolfe; but, with “The Olympic Gold Medalist” at ringside, Morgan showed that he had something to prove as well. However, Anderson was the one who was able to prove himself, hitting the Mic Check for the victory. After the match, Angle stood up from the broadcast table and stared at Morgan, lying prone on the canvas.

Mr. Anderson pinned Matt Morgan with the Mic Check in 13:10.
