November 13, 2012 - PCW Wrestling - Nottingham, UK

Attendance: 3,500

-A highlight package from British Beatdown is shown. The announcers welcome everyone to Nottingham and announce that a nine-man battle royal will take place tonight, to determine a new number one contender for Chris Hero and the Television Title. Also, Hero will be in non-title action tonight, against Kenny King.

-Heavyweight Champion James Storm comes out to the ring with the title belt over his shoulder. Storm says he wanted to come out and say that he knew Bobby Roode was going to give everything he had inside the ring on Saturday night. Storm says that the man who wanted it more came out on top and stands in the ring as champion.

This brings out Kenny King who, from the stage, says that it’s pathetic that Storm comes out and gives praise to a man who was trying to take away his title. King says it doesn’t matter if Storm and Roode used to be partners; just like he doesn’t care that he and Rhett Titus used to be partners. King asks Storm if he saw what happened to Titus on Saturday night. King tells Storm that he tried to end his former partner’s career Saturday night – and feels no remorse about it. Now, King says, his sights are set on ending Storm’s title reign at End of the Line… that is, if Storm is man enough to accept his challenge. King leaves the stage as the show goes to commercials.

Commercial Break

The Great Khali pinned Lance Bravado with the Punjabi Plunge in 10:14.
Rating: ¼*

Lance Bravado had his work cut out for him tonight, going up against the Punjabi Giant and giving up a huge height and weight disadvantage. Bravado was able to get in some offense early on, but it didn’t seem to phase Khali. After he swatted away a dropkick attempt, Khali took over the match, eventually hitting to the Punjabi Plunge for the victory.

Commercial Break

-Brie Bella comes out to the ring and says that, for whatever reason, her sister Nikki decided to butt in on Saturday night, and cost her the chance to be Women’s Champion. Brie also says that Natalya knows Brie should be champion tonight and challenges her to a rematch at the End of the Line pay-per-view. But, tonight, Brie says she wants to take care of her family business and demands that Nikki come out to the ring. Instead, Bayley’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring for the next match…

Brie Bella defeated Bayley by pinfall in 5:24.
Rating: * ¼
(Kelly Kelly no-showed.)

Brie Bella was looking for a fight after being screwed – in her opinion – out of the Women’s Title at British Beatdown. Neither of the targets of her aggression came out tonight, and the Vixen Brie was scheduled to face was nowhere to be found. So, the unenviable task fell to Bayley, who tried to hold her own, but wasn’t ready for the rage that Brie let loose. During the match, after choking Bayley to a four-count, the referee pushed Brie away to check on Bayley. Brie pulled out the brass knuckles she had on Saturday and connected with a right hand that send Bayley to the mat. Brie made the easy pinfall for the 1-2-3.

Commercial Break

-Returning from the break, the camera shows Rex Butler standing in the ring, between two pedestals holding the PCW Tag Team Titles. Butler calls out Harlem and Lance Bravado, who join him inside the ring. Butler says that, due to some unfortunate news that came about on Saturday night, he was forced to make a decision. He announces that his decision was to award the now-vacant Tag Team Titles to Harlem and Lance for their victory over Kazarian and Luke Gallows in the Number One Contenders’ Match from British Beatdown. Butler announces that, next week, there will be a match to determine new Number One Contenders, who will receive a title shot at End of the Line. He hands a title belt to each man and shakes their hands. The crowd boos as Harlem and Lance leave the ring and sit down at ringside with the titles in their lap.

Justin Gabriel & Drew McIntyre defeated Kazarian & Luke Gallows when D. McIntyre pinned Gallows with the Future Shock in 5:08.
Rating: * ½

It was apparent from the start that Kazarian and Gallows were shocked at the news that The Bravados were now the Tag Team Champions. It didn’t make matters any better having the newly-crowned champions at ringside, as they took their chances to distract Kaz and Gallows throughout the match. This allowed Gabriel and McIntyre to take control late in the match, and McIntyre hit the Future Shock on Gallows for the victory.

Commercial Break

-Returning from the break, the nine wrestlers taking part in the battle royal are seen in the ring. The ring announcer goes over the rules for the in-house crowd and announces that the winner will receive a Television Title Match at End of the Line.

Rating: ** ½

David Otunga picked up a huge victory tonight, out-lasting eight other superstars for the chance to challenge his tag team partner, Chris Hero, for the Television Title at End of the Line. During the match, Drew McIntyre and David Hart Smith went at each other like they were the only two in the ring, until The Great Khali intervened, using a big boot to send McIntyre over the top rope. However, when it was down to just Smith and Otunga, McIntyre came back to ringside, distracting Smith, allowing Otunga to hoist “The Canadian Bulldog” out of the ring! McIntyre made his way up the ramp as Smith fumed at ringside.

Commercial Break

-Returning from the break, a preview for End of the Line is shown. Kenny King will face Champion James Storm for the PCW Heavyweight Title, live from Chattanooga, TN on December 16th.

-Backstage, Wade Barrett is seen walking through the hallways, when he is approached by Bobby Roode. Roode says it looks like Barrett has some free time on his hands, now that his partner decided to give up championship gold for the chance to move up to the main roster. Roode says he has nothing planned for the End of the Line show, and that he knows both of them want to prove their worth when it comes to the Heavyweight Title. Roode challenges Barrett to a match at the pay-per-view before walking away.

Non-Title Match
Kenny King pinned © Chris Hero after a superkick in 7:48.
Rating: ***

Kenny King had quite the night tonight. He started off the evening by issuing a challenge to Heavyweight Champion James Storm for the End of the Line pay-per-view. And he finished the evening taking on the Television Champion, who has been virtually unstoppable as of late. Hero, in his own regard, found out earlier tonight that he will defending his TV Title against tag team partner David Otunga at End of the Line, and that fact may have stuck in Hero’s mind, as he appeared to not have King completely scouted. King shocked Hero with a superkick that allowed him to pick up the 1-2-3.
