Vixen's Title Match

Velvet got off to an early start hitting a clothesline out of the gates, quickly locking in a headlock. Velvet kept up the attack, locking in a sleeperhold, trying to wear down the stronger "Future Legend". After hitting a few forearms to the back, Velvet connected with an inverted bulldog, but only got a two-count. Showing some of the aggression that helped her fight until the time limit last week, Velvet locked in another sleeperhold before driving the back of Alissa's head into the canvas. Velvet covered Flash for the 1-2-3, must to the shock of the crowd.

Winner: Velvet Sky via pinfall (1:49) [* 3/4]

The British Invasion (w/Rob Terry) vs. The Briscoe Brothers
#1 Contenders Match

Mark Briscoe starts off the match with a jumping side kick - out of nowhere - on Doug Williams. The crowd gave a huge pop while Williams fought back. The two men shared blows, getting mixed reviews from the crowd. Briscoe hits a springboard dropkick and follows it up with a split-legged moonsault. The crowd began chanting as he tagged into this brother, Jay. A quick double team gave way to a quick burst of offense from Jay, who connected with a sharp elbow to the face. Jay went for the cover, but Rob Terry broke up the count by placing Williams's foot on the rope. The crowd roared with disapporval as Rob denied everything when questioned by the referee. Briscoe came back, and was met with a eye-rake before Williams tagged into Brutus Magnus. JB ducked a running clothesline from Mangus and hit a bulldog, getting a big response from the crowd. He kept up the attack, taking Magnus down with a belly-to-back suplex, before playing to the crowd. Briscoe stayed on top of Magnus, hitting a gutwrench suplex and a quick knee drop. Briscoe kept up the pace, by running into the ropes, ducking a weak clothesline attempt and connecting with a second bulldog. The crowd was going crazy! Back to his feet, Magnus managed to kick Briscoe in the midsection after playing to the crowd. Magnus whipped Jay into the ropes and caught him with a Gorilla Press. Rolling out of the way of a knee drop, Briscoe makes the quick tag into Mark. Mark hits a power bomb as the crowd continues to go crazy. Jay Briscoe hits a flying cross body for another two-count. Jay Briscoe continued the attack, wearing own Magnus, hitting a Frankensteiner for a two-count.

Magnus is able to tag into Williams at the 5:00 mark, as both men double team Jay. Lots of double team offense. MB tries to break it up, but gets intercepted by the referee as The Invasion connect with a double clothesline. They celebrate their actions with the booing Brentwood crowd as Jay makes it back to his feet. He surprises Williams with a backdrop before making the hot tag to Mark. Brutus enters the ring and throws Jay over the top rope. He tries to connect with a clothesline, but Mark ducks it, and Brutus sends his partner down to the canvas. Mark tosses Brutus over the top ropes and connects with the Cutthroat Suplex. He goes for the pin, but, once again, Rob Terry saves The Invasion by putting Williams's foot on the ropes. Mark shares words with Rob as Mark enters the ring and drops Williams with a clothesline before sliding back out. Mark runs into the ropes to take advantage of his opponent, but Rob Terry trips him, as the referee threatens a DQ and wans Rob. Williams and Briscoe go back and forth, keeping the crowd at the edge of their seats. Williams connects with a vicious lariat, but only gets a two-count. He quickly hits a belly-to-back suplex and a powerbomb… also for a two-count. Briscoe fights back, raking Williams's eyes before climbing to the top rope, where he is pushed to the concrete by Rob Terry. Terry throws Briscoe back into the ring while the referee gives out a second warning. He and Magnus continue the assault. Williams hits a powerslam for a two-count. Frustrated, Williams attacks the referee, powerslaming him to the canvas! The Invasion take full advantage of having no referee and brutalize Mark Briscoe for the 1:30.

At 11:00 into the match, the Invasion continue their attack on Mark Briscoe, but somehow he's able to duck clothesline and connect with a superkick. Briscoe threw Williams out of the ring for a seven-count, giving him time to regroup. Briscoe got a couple near falls after a clothesline and dropkick and tagged out to Jay. Rested, Jay kept up the quick temper, knocking Wiliams to the canvas and sending back outside the ring where he slapped the canvas in anger. Briscoe played to the crowd as Williams re-entered the ring. After a tie-up, Williams sends Briscoe to the canvas before tagging in Magnus. Magnus hits Jay with a powerslam for another nearfall. Magnus tried an uppercut, but Briscoe reversed it into a backslide for a nearfall, broken up by Rob Terry, who jumped onto the apron, distracting the referee. Briscoe continued the offense until Magnus ducked a back elbow and tagged out to Williams. Briscoe swings at Williams, who ducks and picks Briscoe up with a bodyslam. He tried to lock in an armbar, but Briscoe rolled out before hitting the J-Driller for another nearfall as Rob pulled the referee outside the ring. Rob then entered the ring and cracked Jay Briscoe in the back with a steel chair! The referee called for the bell as Rob stood over Jay's body.

Winenrs: The Briscoe Brothers via DQ (14:47) [** 1/4]

Mark Briscoe tried to enter the ring to save his brother, but was attacked by Williams and Magnus. The British Invasion stood in the center of the ring as Rob held the dented steel chair in the air. The crowd bood wildly as The British Invasion left the ring. PEW Medicial staff rushed down to the ring to aid The Briscoes as the crowd watched in shock.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Samoa Joe
#1 Contenders Match

This match was hyped with the winner getting a shot at PEW Champion, Bryan Danielson next week, with the title on the line. Joe started off early with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Small offense by Joe. Castagnoli gets the advantage after hitting an STO to turn the tide early. Castagnoli beat down on Joe before hitting a flying legdrop for a nearfall. He then hit a second STO, also for a nearfall. He played to the crowd, letting Joe get back to his feet. Joe took the advantage back after reversing a head-and-arm suplex with a backdrop. Joe came back with a strong offense. He hits a hurancarana for a nearfall. The crowd was in shock after seeing such an impressive move from the big man. Joe locked in the STF, but Castagnoli reached the ropes after 21 seconds. That didn't phase Joe, as he hit a belly-to-back suplex for a nearfall. Frustrated Joe hit both a tiger driver and a Blockbuster… both for nearfalls. Joe continues with the offense. Castagnoli dug deep and was able to even things with a dragon screw out of nowhere. They battled inside the ring before Joe connected with a strong lariat that sent Castagnoli crashing into the referee. Castagnoli gains the advantage at the 5:00 mark.

Castagnoli reversed a hurancarana into a tiger driver for a nearfall. The cheered wildly as the referee regained his composure. Castagnoli kept up the attack, but Joe was able to push away a dropkick attempt before hitting a Aztecan suplex for another nearfall. At 8:00 Castagnoli dropped Joe with a drop-toe hold and only got two on the quick cover. He kept up the attack on Joe for nearly a minute before Joe took him down with a clothesline. At 10:00, Joe sends Castagnoli to the outside, where the two men begin to brawl for a short time. Back in the ring, Joes hits a belly-to-bak suplex. Castagnoli finds a way to roll out from Joe's senton. He picks Joe up and gets a quick fiery offense in, hitting a powerslam on Joe for another nearfall.

At 11:00, both men are back on their feet, brawling in the center of the ring. Joe gains the advantage and hits a Muscle Buster. He didn't go for the pin, instead locking in the Coquina Clutch. Castagnoli struggled to reach the ropes, but eventually did so after 13 seconds. Joe keeps on the attack. At the 12:00 mark, Castagnoli ducked out of a corner attack by Joe and knocked him down with a clothesline. He connected with a flying elbowdrop for a nearfall - as Joe got his foot on the ropes. Screaming in frustration, Castagnoli hit the Ricola Bomb for the victory, and the right to challenge for the the PEW Premiere Championship.
